Lee Mack: The British Comedy Legend Lee Mack is a British comedian, actor, and presenter. He is best known for his work on the BBC One sitcom Not Going Out , as well as his appearances on panel shows such as Would I Lie to You? and Have I Got News for You . Mack was born in Southport, England in 1968. He began his comedy career in the early 1990s, performing stand-up at clubs and festivals. In 1998, he won the Perrier Award for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Mack's first television appearance was in the 1999 sketch show The Sketch Show . He has since gone on to star in a number of other television shows, including Lee Mack's All Star Cast , Lee Mack's Summer Wine , and Lee Mack's 10 O'Clock Live .
