In a statement posted on its website, the studio revealed the news, expressing regret for the wait and stating that more time was needed for development in order to satisfy player expectations. “We are very sorry that this is later than you expected,” Rockstar wrote. “The interest and excitement surrounding a new Grand Theft Auto has been truly humbling for our entire team.
