Nebraska Defense Carries Team to Win Over Illinois

The Nebraska Cornhuskers' defense was the star of the show in their 20-7 win over the Illinois Fighting Illini on Friday night. The Huskers held the Illini to just 246 total yards and forced three turnovers. The Nebraska defense set the tone for the game early on, forcing a three-and-out on Illinois' opening drive. The Huskers then went on to score two touchdowns in the second quarter to take a 17-0 lead. The Illinois offense finally got on the board in the third quarter with a touchdown pass from Tommy DeVito to Isaiah Williams.
