Jose Altuve HR Puts Astros on Brink of Another World Series
Jose Altuve hit a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Houston Astros a 3-2 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies in Game 5 of the World Series on Sunday night. The Astros now lead the series 3-2, and they will have a chance to clinch their second World Series title in franchise history in Game 6 on Tuesday night in Philadelphia. Altuve's home run was his first of the postseason, and it came off of Phillies closer Seranthony Dominguez. Altuve had been struggling in the World Series, going just 1-for-14 before his home run in Game 5. But his clutch hit came at the perfect time for the Astros, and it put them one win away from another World Series championship.
