Nick Daicos' Brownlow Medal hopes took a hit on Saturday night as the Hawthorn Hawks stunned the ladder-leading Collingwood Magpies by 32 points at the MCG. Daicos, who is the Brownlow favourite, was held to just five touches by Finn Maginness, and the Magpies' midfield was comprehensively outplayed by the Hawks. Daicos had been in scintillating form in recent weeks, but he was completely stifled by Maginness on Saturday night. Maginness is one of the best taggers in the AFL, and he did a masterful job of shutting down Daicos.
