Black Bird: A Gripping Crime Drama That Will Keep You on the Edge of Your Seat Black Bird is a new crime drama miniseries that premiered on Apple TV+ on July 8, 2022. The series is based on the 2010 autobiographical novel In with the Devil: a Fallen Hero, a Serial Killer, and a Dangerous Bargain for Redemption by James Keene with Hillel Levin. Black Bird tells the story of Jimmy Keene (Taron Egerton), a high school football star who is sentenced to 10 years in prison for drug trafficking. While in prison, Jimmy is offered a deal by the FBI: if he can befriend Larry Hall (Paul Walter Hauser), a suspected serial killer, and get him to confess to his crimes, Jimmy will be set free. Jimmy agrees to the deal and is transferred to the same prison as Hall. At first, Hall is reluctant to talk to Jimmy, but eventually he begins to open up to him. As Jimmy gets to know Hall, he starts to believe that he is truly guilty of the crimes he is accused of. Jimmy faces a difficult choice: does he stay loy…
